Minecraft Introduction – Day 1

I’m sure you’re wondering who I am and why I’m writing to you, and the answer is simple. To stay sane. To believe that someone will be reading this gives me a feeling that I’m not alone.

I don’t even know what day or month it is, but last I recall, the year is Twenty Eleven. The last thing I remember was being involved in warfare. I clearly remember that I was in a band of pirates. I might have been in charge of them.

However, we weren’t in the middle of pillaging innocents. We banded together with special forces from our home planet to take on a vile mad beast whose size I couldn’t even begin to fathom. Seeing as I have awoken from a slumber, I have to believe that we lost the battle and the beast continues to wreak havoc.

I don’t even know where I am. However, when I awoke, I found this useful but worn guide written by someone who was here previously. The enemies on this planet seem to be vicious. Especially these things called Creepers. I hope I never run into one, but with my luck I most likely will.

My objective is clear. To gather enough resources to build a shelter for the first few nights. After that is complete, I need to gather even more resources to build a ship to escape this planet and find my way back home, if my home hasn’t been destroyed already.

Judging from the guide, the day and night cycles run by much quicker than the typical twenty four hours. Instead, it seems like the cycle feels like twenty minutes. Which means I have to hurry and build or find a shelter to protect me from the evil of the night.

I awoke surrounded by water on most sides. I believe I also saw a squid-like creature underneath the water, but my first priority was to chop down some wood to build tools and a shelter with. However, I had no tools so I had to improvise.

My next task was to find some coal so I could make torches to shed light into the darkness. I managed to find a healthy amount of coal for my first evening. I quickly worked and converted the wood I gathered into planks and created a work bench to make more useful tools.

I created a wooden pickaxe, a stone shovel, and a wooden bo staff. I found what I deemed a suitable place to build a small shelter for the night, and proceeded to build walls around the area, but had to fetch a bit more wood and some sand so I could smelt some windows.

I had to hurry at this point, as the sun was beginning to set in the horizon. I smelted the windows and closed off the ceiling and created a door for the entrance.

Now I wait out the evening until the dawn of the next day.

Sincerely,
Victoria

PS: The darkness was too bleak to be able to see outside, but the dawn of the next day revealed a zombie, a few skeletons…. and some creepers. Two creepers stand outside of my door. I cannot leave for fear of their explosive nature. I hope they leave sometime soon so I may gather some more stone resources, and hopefully find some more coal and wood.

Starcraft 2

Hi, my name is Victoria and I like to play Starcraft 2. My race of choice is the Zerg because I prefer building mass units and stomping things to the ground. It doesn’t always work, but I’m still learning. If I was in a league, I’d be Bronze, but I still have to go through my five placement matches. (If anyone would like to play with me, be sure to add me. temptress.victoria at succubusvalley dot com is my email address.

I picked up the game when it came out, I believe. But I did not pre-order it. One of the things I got in the box was a peculiar notepad of a wanted poster of Jim Raynor. It was pretty interesting. I need to remember to use it in the future, haha.

Just thought I’d tell you all that I play this game. I don’t really have many people to play with aside from the randoms that pop in from the Quick Match feature. The campaign was really well done, I believe. There were some interesting twists and choices to be made. I had to actually think about what I wanted to do. I’m really looking forward to the next release, which will probably come out some time in 2012.

Thanks for reading, sweetie!

Melty Blood Actress Again – PS2

So I moved on from Act Cadenza ver. B. I know some people still play it because it’s on the PC and has Netplay, but the people I played with have moved on from it as well pretty much and play other console games. I figure I should keep up what skill I have with the franchise and play with the characters I’m used to in here, as well as try out the new ones they implemented.

My Main three characters are (in order of skill):

White Len

Hisui & Kohaku

Aoko Aozaki

My first main used to be Kohaku by herself, but then I discovered that it’s actually better to use the twins. But out of the twins, I main Kohaku. I also saw one of my friends play as White Len and stumbled onto a White Len tutorial and I prefer fighting with her mainly. I hear she’s hard to master/use, but I have no real trouble. Aoko is just plain fun to use. She’s last on the list because I actually have difficulty using her properly, but I still have fun with her nonetheless.

Thanks for reading~
